After Thor 2 I'm sure they'll put in the effort for the 3rd one. Make sure it's the best Thor film to date and have massive implications for the MCU- everything Winter Soldier was for the CA series.
Got the feeling they rushed Thor 2 just for the sake of it. Aside from the Loki twist at the end, it was a pretty pointless contribution to the MCU.

I'm sure they realize this now though and am certain Thor: Ragnorak will Rock big time. Imo they just rushed to get a Thor sequel out there, but they're taking their time with the 3rd one.

It's actually supposed to be making it's debut with the release of the new Mad Max film, so 15th of May. It's only 2 weeks after AoU, which isn't that much considering how long we've all already been waiting for this movie.

Any claims from months ago were unsubstantiated at the time. There was also speculation that it was going to premier with Jupiter Ascending, and with Focus. Less than a month ago there were still rumours that the first trailer might only debut at the San Diego Comic-Con. This is actually the studio backing up the Mad Max release date. I agree with Rob though in that it'd be better to have stuck it with the AoU release. Seems the first trailer is done and dusted and could be released right now if the studio felt inclined to do so, so it's their choice. And other than the diehard anti-Marvel/anti-DC guys, the majority of people who are going to watch Age of Ultron are going to see Dawn of Justice as well. But guess it's too much to ask for Marvel and DC studios to give each other a bit of a boost.

Oh I definitely agree that it is one of the better places to get info and that it pays off a lot more often than not. I just personally prefer to always wait for more official confirmations about things, because too many times in the past I have been disappointed by false rumours from outside sources. Call it a healthy paranoia towards Hollywood and Internet BS.
Though admittedly, it's not that the studios are always that much better with keeping us updated. But, if they actually do screw up, I feel a lot more justified flying into nerd rage about it. 😆 🙁
