Indeed. Visually this seems far closer to Watchmen than MoS. That's a good thing IMO.

Juz saying Snyder's already dealt with the god-complex in Ozymandias & now Supes is being branded a false god rather than a super hero...

The JL heroes, most notably Superman, have often been treated as gods p. As for Watchman comparisons it seems far more similar to Dr. Manhattan rather than Ozy.

I like the stories where Superman is treated as a god better than the usual stories. Take Grant Morrison's works like JLA or All star superman and you'll see why.

Yes, but Ozy wanted the world to view him as a god...Dr. Manhattan couldn't care less how he was viewed.

From MOS where JorEl comments he will be a god amongst mortals.
I'm not saying (based on a 2 minute trailer in Spanish) that Supes becomes arrogant to assume a godlike role but there's a statue (made by humans) & later destroyed & labelled as a "false god" (by humans) to hint that that's the underlining conflict of the story.

One of Supes last defining speeches in MOS was to the General basically saying, "You can't control me...leave me alone & I will be there when needed."

If anything, Clark will likely be a reluctant hero who doesn't want all the worship and pressure but doesn't know how to deal with it.

The Cgi still looks weird, granted the trailer is very low def so maybe it's just that.
