I firmly believe the actor is only as good as the director.
I always felt Nolan had good intentions for Begins but lost sight of Batman as the main character when he set his sights on making the next 2 movies on a grand & epic scale.
In a perfect world an actor is only as good as the director. Though sometimes it can be the other way around.

does anyone really think that doomsday is actually in this and will kill Kal ?
Has there been an actual report that Doomsday might be in it? If he is in it, it wouldn't surprise me if he killed Supes. Of course we all know the death wouldn't stick.

William Shatner was actually a pretty good actor in his day. He was in broadway and a really promising talent before Star Trek.
For me though he never did anything good. He did things that were so bad they were good. Which I think yes when it comes to his "so bad it is good" acting..he was at his height in the Star Trek films. It's like the tv series was just a form of basic training.
Of course everyone knows behind the scenes at Star Trek he was a huge prick and made a lot of odd demands.
