MOS did quite well, actually. Made most of its production budget before the movie even came out through promotional support and nearly 700 m world wide with a bunch of competition. MOS did more than any of Marvel's movies in phase 1 sans Avengers and WB is on pace to break Marvel's record for first 10 movies.
I agree that shitty movies can still make alot of money . Like your MOS example. Another one is Amazing Spiderman 2 (made even more than MOS).
Good analysis. 👆

Superman isn't nearly as popular as he was in today's generation, so saying that superman should make more is irrelevant.
He is still a pop icon that is more known and recognized around the world than any MCU character.

😂
DC can seek to catch up to the trendsetters, marvel. Marvel sets the trends while DC seeks to emulate the big bad Marvel.

Riiight lol 🙄Lets hand pick very specific sites and criteria that is the unpopular opinion, in an effort that you try to convince others that MOS wasnt shit.
Lol. You only picked one site, rottentomatoes. MOS sold more copies on blue ray and dvd, has similar ratings to most Marvel movies on popular sites like IMDB and rottentomatoes (general audience ), and even finished pretty high in AMCS super hero tournament, which gathered thousands of votes. Looks like the general public liked it.
Nice try, though. 🙂
