DC can seek to catch up to the trendsetters, marvel. Marvel sets the trends while DC seeks to emulate the big bad Marvel.

Age of Ultron wasn't a shitty film it just wasn't as good as the first avengers. Still more successful than Man of Steel by about twice as much. I bet that stings doesn't it ?

Lol. You only picked one site, rottentomatoes. MOS sold more copies on blue ray and dvd, has similar ratings to most Marvel movies on popular sites like IMDB and rottentomatoes (general audience ), and even finished pretty high in AMCS super hero tournament, which gathered thousands of votes. Looks like the general public liked it.
