Overall agreed, but it could also be in reference to who wins the battles of ideologies.

Granted, will probably just be them coming to a mutual understanding that despite Superman's extinction-level capabilities, the world needs him and despite Batman's vigilante justice, the world needs him too.

Kevin Smith says Ben Affleck is probably the best Batman we've seen so far.

While that may very well be true, should be taken with a grain of salt as Affleck and him have a history of friendship, despite Smith's disclaimer.

Smith's rooted for Affleck as Batman since day 1. Having said that, Ben does look damn good as Bats.
