That's a facade, obviously. Even Snyder addressed that in his interviews.

Hey, if you turn out to be correct, I won't complain at all.

I want the movie to be as good as possible.

I just doubt it, sorry. The Eisenberg part, I mean.

Some interesting tidbits from SHH.

BvS is fine. He called his source (The guy who gave him the SS trailer info and Mera scoop) and asked him what's up. He said that everything is fine and not to worry. Also that it is "F'ing awesome". He says his source isn't a fanboy and is on the business side of things. Said that Ben is shooting a movie outside of DC after JL so there's no time for a solo Batman film next year and the script isn't even done yet. No one's job at WB is in jeopardy.

- Will have an accurate tracking prediction 3 weeks from now but is aiming for 192m - 215m opening week

- BvS has been only screened to insiders at WB and he hasn't heard about screening to the public.

- The editor and chief of JoBlo.com said that his source told him that the private screening went great and someone was quoted that they "Pulled it off". Umberto says that JoBlo's source is very legit.

- He has JL scoops but doesn't want to drop them until after BvS comes out because it will spoil a lot of things in BvS

- Scott Eastwood's character in SS is a_BIG_spoiler that he won't speak on yet.

- He's working with both Marvel and DC Films. He said he met with DC Films last week

- An very big actor has been offered an role in an unique DC film (Green Lantern) but no word on if he will take it or not.

OT: He said that Young Han Solo is down to 3 or so names and Star Lord's father may be changed. There's been 5 drafts on GOTG2 so far

He will still look like a effeminate teenager going through puberty.

This.

That's the problem. He's just not made for that role.

What does this even mean? You mean it's a facade the same way Bruce Wayne puts on one as a billionaire playboy?

So Lex is acting this way to throw us off because he is secretly just some kind of genius mastermind?

I mean damn, there are ways to throw people off and then there is..what Jesse seems to be doing. Why not just have him be the classic shady businessman who appears to be legit to the public?

You can definitely see Lex in the commercial. Most people dug that. And yes, Snyder confirmed that Lex is a lot more complex in the movie than we saw in the 1 minute trailer.

I liked DOFP (to a point, it definitely had its faults), but I'm guessing it was because, like First Class, it had more to do with Vaughn and the direction he and those who wrote the film chose. Singer, iirc, came in very late, and wasn't as involved with structuring the movie as he will be with this one. Seeing Bryan Singer near anything I like just kills me a little inside.

That, and X-Men is always going to be the one franchise I'm more critical of than others.

I actually liked a lot about Thor 2 as in, I found it enjoyable enough, but I could just watch it and see so much more they could have done with it. On a practical level in terms of writing etc, I just think it's weaker than a lot of the Marvel movies, including the first Thor which I thought was REALLY good.

I did really like a lot of the visuals though.

WWZ just wasn't a very good zombie movie, imo. I don't know how they would have translated the book, but it still had some weird issues in production.

Btw, here's the Extremis YT video. No dialogues, not perfect, but the best vid you can find on the web atm.

Tell me how it compares to IM 3. Tell me.

YouTube video

That thumbnail lol.

I think he's trying to be a cross between Ledger's Joker and Hackman's Luthor, but that's not a real Lex. Lex is cool, calm and calculating. Lex is the arrogant prick that you know can back up what he says regardless of how much you want to punch him in the face, so you don't.

Some versions are. Not all. shrug

I don't see how people are still talking about "it's all an act" thing for Eisenberg.
I don't see how that makes Jesse any more tolerable. He will still look like a effeminate teenager going through puberty. No amount of voice and demeanor changing will mask that face that looks like he has had massive moneyshots blaster upon it.

That's... Disturbing.

Because they're doing their own version? It could be shit, but if people aren't going to give it a chance, it's never going to get a fair shake the way other "weird castings" have.

No, no. I want him to reply. It's a pretty good video and should give him AT LEAST a general idea of Extremis virus.

"A role like Lex"

Explain please.

Unless Lex is a socially awkward nerdy guy, it's a role he has never played.

If Lex ends up being socially awkward, that would be weird. But not out of character.

He was a bit of a **** in his younger days.

He's always been a nerd, though.

When has Lex ever been socially awkward?

It would be out of character. His charisma and ability to manipulate people is part of his character, it's part of how he gets what he wants.

Comic nerds aren't really nerds in the way we usually think of them. Lex is a genius, but he isn't Steve Urkel.

I always liked the portrayal of Lex in Smallville. He wasn't a nerd, he wasn't a massive genius, but he was ruthless and a good businessman. It was shown he was somewhat awkward as a kid(growing up bald) but he turned that into passion/strength/whatever.

Say what you want about the show, but they did a good job with Lex. He wasn't physically powerful or physically weak, but there was an obvious darkness inside him.

I liked that Lex the most.

When he was younger, and pre-crisis he wasn't exactly shown as the most capable socially either.

It's part of SOME versions. Better known versions, sure, but still. It's even my preferred version, tbh.

I don't see how that makes him less of a nerd though; it's a very broad term.

I'm talking about adult Lex. Was pre-crisis Lex socially awkward? It's part of like every version for the last ~40 years, unless you mean Elseworlds Lex or something.

I didn't use it in a broad sense though, I said socially awkward nerd.

Someone apparently hacked Mindset's account... because he's serious, totally makes sense and hasn't even mentioned rape.
