Even if you want to bring up adult versions, Pre-crisis Lex, for the longest time, was little more than a mad scientist.

Which Lex has been in the past, though tbh, how do we know that's what Lex will be in this movie? Have you seen something I haven't?

I'm not saying you have to like it. Or prefer it. I don't. I just don't like people saying there's zero precedence for him being a floppy haired weirdo, when there is.

Ideally, he should be like Clancy Brown's version, or like Loeb's version during the President Lex stuff (which is actually my favourite version).

He was also a scientist, which is the one problem I had with Smallville Lex. Michael Rosenbaum was flawless at times, but I wish we'd seen more of the brilliant scientist Lex is, which is something I thought POTUS and JLU showed us in varying amounts.

Yeah, it's very important to remember that part. Without it, Lex is just another poor man's Kingpin.

Did you forget how this convo started? Why would I have needed to see the movie?

There's precedence for Supes not being able to fly, but that hasn't been part of his character for decades, just like Lex being autistic hasn't been part of his character for decades.

Anyway, like I said that started this whole thing, unless they make Lex a socially awkward nerd, this isn't a role Eisenberg has played before.

I didn't say that was the ONLY example. Just that it was one. Just because the most prominent version of Lex since John Byrne took over has been the businessman one, it doesn't mean it was the only one. Which is wasn't. More than once we've seen Lex, even in the last decade, act more like a mad genius than a clever strategist.

You know I'm kind of hoping the rumours about a DCEU reshuffle are true. I'd love to get a Solo Batman before JL, and for Snyder to move off Justice League.

Not me. Snyder is the perfect man for the visuals and the fact that Terrio is writing the scripts makes me believe it will be good. I don't want to see another Batman movie for a while. We have had plenty of those. Justice League should come first.

Not only that, but Affleck is directing another small project, which I'd like to see first. We don't need a Batman film taking away from all of that.

It's great that Terri writes good scripts, but he's not in charge of making the movie, that's the Director.

Just think it'd be good to have solo movies for all the Big 3 (Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman) prior to JL.

Granted though we'll obviously get a lot of Batman in BvS and a little more in Suicide Squad, so I see your point as well. It can work the way it's going. I'm just saying I wouldn't complain if they pushed JL back. And I definitely wouldn't complain if they replaced Snyder to helm it.
