this smells of desperation and bandwagonning.. Very, very suspicious that they are already planning an alleged R rated dvd/blu ray when the film hasn't even been screened for critics as well as it being released in theaters... Things like this aren't even known until after a movie is released in theaters unless its a direct to video release or something like that. Clearly WB and Snyder are WORRIED this film will underperform

It's ****ing Superman, that's why.The only thing r-rated that should involve Superman is what he and Lois do at home when the lights are off.
Or on, when it's his birthday.
Remember, Avengers almost earned a Rated R by the MPAA. It doesn't really mean anything. Everyone needs to calm down.

That doesn't really make it better, tbh.

But jumping to conclusions doesn't either. MPAA is pretty sensitive and many times the ratings can change with just one scene. Who's saying Superman does anything and not Batman or anyone else?
They're also making the Killing Joke Rated R, I believe.

The Killing Joke is far, FAR different.
Even taking in to account the MPAA being as sensitive as they are, Snyder and the writers having anything in a Superman movie that even approaches being r-rated concerns me.

I bet it's the violence. I've been hearing that it's more like Watchmen and that was Rated R. Matrix got a rated R for excess shootings, FFS.
The Hobbit got a rated R for the extended cut, too. And supposedly it was this scene. Really nothing to talk about.
