Most anticipated comic character is a whole different criteria than being generally the most anticipated comic book movie.

Most of the tickets have been sold out in my area and showtime I wanted, so I had to settle for the 10 PM one. 😠

I downloaded the prequel comic at Comixology via a code I got from a bag of Doritos. Not much going on in there other than just a ceremony for the statue of Superman that was unveiled at Metropolis. Batman was just shown in the Batcave training while watching on a monitor.

BVS right now is at 34% on Movietickets.com, which is pretty damn impressive. In comparison, Avengers AOU was at 21% for it's first 24 hours. Star Wars was at 75% during it's first 24 hours. It's not the be all in terms of OW numbers, but it's an interesting stat.

You're right! It jumped to 39%. AOU was at 84% the day before it's release and BVS has 4 more weeks to go.

Also, this is very positive IF true.

I talked to someone last night who got an early screening. Said person is no fan of Zach Snyder, but said this movie absolutely nails it and will surpass expectations. Also said that Gal Gadot will have people begging for a Wonder Woman movie

How does that site work? I'm not familiar with it but 39% of all tickets sold? What does that mean?

It says "39% of all tickets sold in the last 24hrs"

So I'm assuming that BvS is eating up nearly 40% or all tickets sold in the last day and it's not out for weeks. Tells us this film will likely have a strong opening weekend.

It's already outpacing AOU. This is film is going to open huge.
