Well, I haven't payed too much attention to DS lately, so maybe he isn't anymore. He used to be though. Hell even batman owned DS.
He was never a jobber to Superman bar a coupe of outlying instances like Apokolips Now.
The Batman stuff doesn't really count though... I mean, the dude kicked the Spectre.

One thing I'll say is I hope if they do put DS in; I want him to look awesome. I'm probably one of the few people that HATE the way Thanos looks. I'm not a big Josh Brolin fan and having him basically be Thanos damn near ruins the character for me. We'll see what happens. I HOPE Darkseid is awesome. He's probably one of my favorite DC Characters.

Watching GMA this morning the hosts of the show all said they saw the film with one of them saying "It's great, we're not allowed to say anymore, it's got a big ending."
Good to hear. The showing Boxofficez was at had conan Obrien. Jimmy Kimmel said it was great, too, but not sure I believe them. They're paid to say good things.

The only issue I had with what you said is: Josh Brolin? Really?
Originally posted by -Pr-Yes. I don't care for Brolin. I think he's a servicable actor; but in my opinion it's one of the only misses that Marvel Studios have made in their casting choices. However, it's a HUGE miss. We'll see what Thanos actually acts like in the Infinity Wars. But I look at Brolin's face on Thanos and it just makes me sick.

I wanted him to look more menacing like he does in the comics.
And I don't care for his voice as Thanos either.
Honestly, I rate him very highly as an actor, but Thanos is going to have to be good, as if he isn't, a lot riding on him is going to look bad.
Back to DS, honestly, Superman (and sure, Orion) are really the only people that ever consistently look like they can challenge Darkseid, and more often than not he treats them like children. I don't agree that Superman should never beat Darkseid, but I do think that if he does, it should take an absolutely monumental effort on his part.
All in all, he doesn't get any more or less "embarrassed" than Thanos does, so I think any appearance he makes in the DCCU will be fine.

plenty of seats to choose from but bought my tickets today

Hey, I wash that Superman hoodie every time I wear it!

My cinema for some reason wouldn't let me choose seats, which is also how they were for Star Wars. Just have to plan to get in early and hope for the best.
