Interesting to hear antovs review.
Coming out of the IMAX and opening phone to see reviews likeThis is much much more of a popcorny movie, almost like Marvel even, than I expected. Honestly, if this wasn't Snyder and was Marvel/Disney people would probably give this a pass.

Anyway thoughts - Affleck was really great, _Eisenberg was REALLY great, Gadot was real nice.
Basically - this isn't trying to be all_TDK_or Watchmen, this is like_TFA, it's breezy, more fun than I expected, just through a "darker" lens, Terrio did great by flirting with more serious and tougher themes in the dialogue but the film didn't get bogged down by them. It did move a touch too fast in the first third though, I hope and think the Ultimate Cut will fix that.
Only problems I have are the way some of the universe set up is handled - sure it's actually all woven in far more nicely than say AoU but we didn't need the cameos IMO.
Cinematography, especially the IMAX stuff, is absolutely gorgeous - unlike Nolan and Bay, Snyder uses IMAX for actual select sequences for prolonged periods instead of just flipping back and forth. And I liked the score too but MoS was superior.
8.5/10
Anyway, think that's all from me until round 2 Thurs night. I guess they could've gone far more darker and serious than they did but indulging in the pulp of it and balancing it out was a good move.
So more of a popcorn movie than something like TDK.

It's getting slammed by critics/movie reviewers all over
not a surprise...
here is a review from cNet... the guy says that there are god things as well as bad things about the film. As for myself I wil judge on Friday..

Ign gave the film a 6.8. A just ok review. 😂
While Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has good things to recommend it, it’s shortcomings are undeniable. The action sequences whenever Batman is set loose on the bad guys are cool, and the story strives to explore human and philosophical elements, but it’s often not much fun. Not every superhero movie should be like a Marvel one (because every hero and piece of material is different), but even the melodramatic X-Men movies never lost sight of pure entertainment value while also exploring heady and heavy topics.
Often not too much fun.
😂
Prepare for the DC fans meltdown come this weekend. I'll know for certain Thursday but as I told you all Snyder sucks and all you dipshits who praised him might be in for a rude awakening.

If they called Eisenberg someone else, someone snively like Dr. Sivanna or some shit, I'd be more accepting.A miscast is a miscast.
Screw his Luthor.
