^ Just like a lot of people have been claiming about BvS.Can't really judge these movies until we see them. Even when they're not following much of the source material doesn't mean they still can't be good films.
The positive-negative ratio is 29-1. FF was crapped on far more than BVS.
IGN reviews BvS.
Not surprised by it to be honest, but a bit disappointed:

Holy hell at the critic reviews for this movie. Its not just IGN. A lot of people seem to agree this tanked. I was really hoping for them to pull out the win for this one. This is going to cripple DC movies from here on. 🙁
I'd hate to say it, but Snyder needs to go. Now. They need someone to breath some life into the DCMU

Actually gives me hope to be honest, Watchmen is my favorite superhero flick and I wouldn't want BvS to be like Avengers, as I have those films for that.
Some snippets that give me hope:
-Go in expecting less of DC's version of The Avengers and more of a variation on Watchmen
-It’s largely a straightforward drama with some sleuthing sequences, and is thus more engaging on a cerebral level than as a fanboy-friendly adrenaline rush. Those expecting BvS to be DC's answer to Marvel's Avengers will find it more akin to Snyder's Watchmen instead
-Kids going for a superhero slugfest may be disappointed they have to sit through so much soul-searching and politics to get to the cape-and-cowl action sold in the trailers
-When we do see Batman, he is absolutely brutal and Affleck really nails it as both the Dark Knight and Bruce Wayne. He’s a physical powerhouse, the dapper playboy, the serious businessman, an obsessive authoritarian, and a relentless detective. Affleck is the best thing about BvS, instantly making the character of Batman his own.

? What? IGN was HYPED for BVS. Most of their reviewers are DC fans. So,.....if anything you'd think it'd be biased FOR the movie not against.
I don't trust IGN in general to be honest. Maybe the movie will be bad; I don't know. I just don't trust IGN.
The one thing I did take from that review though, was something that confirmed something I've felt ever since Man of Steel came out. People are going in to this movie with a set of expectations not just of quality, but of things like tone and so on. Things that will hurt the movie even if it's not technically a bad movie.

They were one of the higher scores given to BvS too.
Ouch Rough start on RT. 38%.
But I say screw the critics.

Damn. Did not expect this. 🙁I'll wait until I see the film before calling for Snyder's head but if even IGN gives it a middling review....
IGN are pretty harsh tbh. They gave Deadpool a pretty mediocre review as well IIRC.
