That's not bigger than any superhero film to date. Avengers 1 & 2, Iron Man 3, The Sam Raimi Spider Man series, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises, X-Men: Days Of Future Past, Thor: The Dark World, Guardians Of The Galaxy - all scored overseas BO between $400 million and $1 Billion.

As long as they stick with Synder it won't be Marvel/Star Wars level of Quality.
Don't think any DC fan would be happy with it being a Transformers level franchise.
That said I also think Marvel's been pretty fortunate with critics tbh.
