Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice

Guys this is a thread for BvS. Let's try to keep unrelated movies out of it. I think the only bearing discussing MArvel in this thread is about DC's path for building a shared universe vs Marvel's. Which currently I definitely think Marvel chose the current route.

BvS did alright but I definitely felt myself wishing the movie was over about 30 mins earlier.

If this movie is the the tone setter than I think the DCMU will end up being like X-Men. A bunch of solid movies that have both horrible moments and good moments.

Yep 170 Domestic opening.

Of course it's hitting a Billion. Opened domestically 4million behind IM3. I'm sure it can match IM3's box office multiplier.

There's never a guarantee. But like I said if it's weekend to total multiplier is the same as IM3's (not particularly high), then it will go well over a Billion.

So it not even reaching 1Bill seems very unlikely at this point.

I personally see its multiplier playing more like AOU.

The movie left me wanting more. Which is why I didn't mind it just being "good" and not epic.

Golgo was right that this is just the start of the DCEU. Still loads of time and room for improvement.

Absolutely. That's what I'm saying. Anyone is entitled to like BvS more than AoU..but more people liked AOU and that's a fact. Both critics and fan ratings are higher.
