Critics are entitled to their opinions. It's the fools who think they speak for the majority which I can't stand.

I just can't take the critics seriously these days. They are just too full of themselves.

Well it is hard to take them seriously when this has 30% on RT and Iron Man 3 has 79% facepalm

I can't take any site seriously which has Superman Returns at 76%.

^ Yeah that too

424 M WW debut! Awesome number and the biggest all time for a super hero movie. I think CW will get close to 500, though, but for WB's DCEU launch, that's spectacular. 170 M OW, which shattered the March Opening weekend is also awesome.

This was better than AOU IMO.

Agreed.

.....

^ All depends on its legs now Golgo. But 1Bill will be easy from here.

Yeah, RottonTomates is the only saying this is bad, everyone else seems to LOVE it!

Hell no. This movie was leagues better than AOU.

I wouldn't say leagues, but it was slightly better, IMO. AOU was abysmal.

Lmao BvS was no way better than AoU.

At least in AoU at least the actors did a good job of portraying the characters.

So no you're using IMDB? 😂 IMDB's rating is 7.5, which is around the same as RT's audience. That means it's above average and not even close to what the critics say in it's RT score. And around the same as most Marvel movies.

Are you blind ?lol

It's there. And you have to take into account that the rating on there was based on thousands of 10 ratings before anyone saw the movie.
So it's that high for that reason.

Damn, shows Harry Potter was friggen ridiculous WW.

1 Star Wars: The Force Awakens BV $529.0 $248.0 46.9% $281.0 53.1% 2015
2 Jurassic World Uni. $524.9 $208.8 39.8% $316.1 60.2% 2015

Yeah, the average ratings between everyone that voted or at least the members. 7.5 isn't a bad number. It will lower, but probably no less than 7.2. Same as MOS's, which isn't bad at all.

Agreed. BvS was plagued by horrid writing, a beyond abysmal turn by Jesse "Michael Cera" Eisenburg and a cave troll from LOTR. But mostly the bad writing and tone that WB set derailed the movie.

BvS just wasn't that fun to watch. I watched it once in theaters, and that's enough.

I thought the script was solid, but to each their own.

Golgo, you'd like anything WB throws out there even if they shoveled cow dung down your throat; so that's not surprising.

I think Eisenburg did alright. They tried to play up the awkward genius bit a little too much. IT made scenes unwatchable at points but when he actually was allowed to play the role away from that he did a good. The scene between him and Supes was great setup for me.

So the good reviews are starting to roll in. And its breaking box office records. Almost half a billion in 2 .5 days.
