They tried lantern. They shouldn't have bothered. They should do The Flash.

Marvel went back to the drawing board with the Hulk as well. Not every movie is going to be a resounding success. Dc is gun shy now.

I think Quan hides Dc movies like that one under his bed.

These piles of poo would never get purchased. Hell, if someone gave me this as a gift I'd scrap the friendship.

They need to stop handing $200m to directors who could be described as mediocre at best.

Whenever these pieces of trash would be handed to me I'd wreck them like Hulk would wreck Superman.

dc only has superman and throwing in batman at this point. Marvel had sequels to Ironman as well.

No they've done Green Lantern as well. IM sequel was pointless, and added nothing to the Avengers except Black Widow.

I am saying dc is doing what they always do shoving superman and batman down our throats again afraid to take a real chance.

Your the only one complaining that we get too much of the greatest 2 superheroes in comic book history. B vs S will be the first time we get these too together on the big screen. It's going to be one of the most hyped movies of all time.

And also Jonah Hex

surprised people don't realize that's a DC character.

GL was worth trying, they just didn't execute it well. The same thing could easily go wrong with The Flash if it's not properly executed.

But hey, it happens. A lot of people feel the Hulk movies were rubbish, and Marvel to this day hasn't had the confidence to give us a solo Hulk sequel.

But GL is done. His origin story is there. But a sequel will likely have to wait until after JL now.

Perhaps because it was a cheap budget one? People tend to notice the bigger budget ones more.

Also didn't help it was a real flop.

Still it was one based on one of DC"s characters....That and it shows that they tried just like what they did with Green Lantern.

Lantern was the victim of a bad script, imo. The casting was fine, the CGI was fine. They just really went bonkers with the whole Parallax thing. Trying to explain the emotional spectrum in one movie while dealing with Sinestro, Hector Hammond AND Parallax?

Stupid. Stupid.

Oh yeah. I completely agree. There's been Watchmen as well, which many people love.

Quanchi's just trolling when he says "All they do is stuff Superman and Batman down our throats." No they have given us other heroes and franchises on the big and small screen. But they obviously won't stop giving us their 2 biggest superhero franchises. That would be like telling Fox to quit giving us X-Men. Or telling Sony to stop shoving Spider-Man down our throats Lol

Im doesn't need to establish avengers it all ties in and focuses on Tony stark.

They aren't that great and are ignoring the rest of the roster. Marvel has already turned Iron Man and Thor into household characters with the success whereas dc is where they have always been.

Marvel expands whereas dc stays the same.

🙂

DC is also giving us Wonder Woman, Green Arrow, Flash, Constantine and hourman.

Is that not expanding?

Not by Quanchi's definition.

Irons is solid, but what the hell were they thinking when they cast Eisenberg as Lex? There's just no way he could play a convincing and intimidating villain, much less some of Lex Luthor's caliber.

First Gadot, now this. This movie is going to be so awful. Might as well cast Michael Cera as Doomsday.

just another dumb choice on WB's part..

Da phuck? Well Alfred's decent but Eisenberg? Really? Next we'll have Tobey Maguire as Aquaman.
