Was Ant man that bad of a film, I stopped watching it like 20 minutes into it. Maybe I'm missing something but it was pretty farkin bland
Ant man was alright, i enjoyed the comedy but the villain was forgettable. Overall, mcu did a good job establishing a not so popular character to the masses. Better than Thor or Cap 1. On paper, Thor has the best supporting cast among solo movies imo with Hopkins, Elba, Portman and Skarsgard. Hiddleston is the reason Thor is watchable.

It was ok, imo. I was expecting it to be GOTG 2.0. Not even close imo.
I enjoyed both films immensely. Audience ratings are very close as well.

You're asking someone that thought BvS was going to be the best superhero movie ever made and likely would win multiple Oscars.

It would've looked better & more convincing in Snyder's slo-mo style...especially being a dream sequence.I was honestly hoping & expecting some 300-Stye fight scenes from Bats.
I was expecting the same type of fight like the warehouse fight. Guess the choreography team took a day off.

Snyder can ***** all he wants, but yes, Ant-Man was better than BvS.
It was a good movie. It was more aimed at comedy, sure, but it got those right, and it didn't shit all over Hank Pym the way I thought it would. It actually managed to respect him too.

No way. The basterdized the Hobbit. It should have been AT MOST 2 movies. It's the shortest Tolkien published book but they made it a trilogy unto itself. They added more made up shit that went against the lore. It was insulting. The hole thing with the love triangle and The Suaron/Gandalf/Galadrial shit...as well as Azog....It was more like Peter Jackson's Hobbit than J.R.R. Tolkien's. It was garbage. I suppose if you didn't read the book and go into it that way it might not be too bad....but for purists it was terrible. That was kinda my point in relation to the Fourth world comment you made.
I've read LOTR, but not the Hobbit, so that's why I'm guessing.
And now I'm a Superman purist... Yay.

We don't know the full details of who is making the next movie do we?
Snyder is directing Justice League unless WB fires him.

M. Douglas as Pym was based. There was no woman beatings but he did manage to clock a few people 👆
