yes he is... next week when the film falls even more at the box office , Golgo will prolly make even more dumb excuses....

What excuses, idiot?

Now we know why DC decided to open the movie in all of the major markets at the same time. They knew that word of mouth would kill profits so they wanted to minimize that as much as possible.

I have said this for months. This film would stink and I would bathe in the tears of DC fanboys. Marvel is on another level, loser.

WB not concerned with the 2nd weekend drop and just looking to get on with the DCEU:

**** comics only read the economist

^ That shouldn't change WB's statement. Unless you think comicbookmovies made the statement up?

I didn't point their 1billion prediction, because predictions like that I'd only point out from people like Variety, Forbes or Economist e.t.c.

I thought the film was decent. Certainly better than Age Of Ultron which was not outstanding imo

Nah. AOU was better.

I thought the film was decent. Not as bad as some people make it out to be.

But it's not very impressive for a film featuring three of most iconic superheroes(often called the Trinity) to barely outgross Iron Man. Who was a B-list character that non comic fans didn't know about beforehand. Hell there's a chance that freaking Deadpool could beat this. Another character that the mainstream didn't know about and whose film was rated R and wasn't released in China.

AoU is a much better film. Critics liked it more, audiences liked it more and it made a ton more money. I'd watch AoU 5 times in a row before thinking about watching BvS again.

So, apparently BvS needs to make somewhere around $750 million JUST TO BREAK EVEN. I guess the marketing cost more than people first assumed. http://www.comicbookmovie.com/batman_vs_superman/wb-says-theyre-not-concerned-with-batman-v-supermans-2nd-a133028

I don't think I could physically sit through AOU 5 times personally.

Marketing + production is an estimated $500mill, but what people forget is theatres take a cut from the gross revenue. That's why it needs somewhere around $750-$800mill to break even, which it will easily surpass IMO. Should gross $900mill+

The optics are worse than anything. Anything short of a Dark Knight gross will be a major disappointment for the companies; at best, it should have been a box office on par with the Avengers movies, which were successful & loved beyond what they originally thought.

You sat though BvS 5 times? What a glutton for punishment. While I didn't think it was awful, it was still pretty average at best. I have no desire to see it again.

Never mind Darth. I didn't read far enough ahead. My bad

I knew it had Avengers "potential", but realistically I was expecting something around IM3 numbers.

And you're right that if this doesn't hit $1bill then that would be a massive disappointment for this, despite what anyone from WB says.
