I did over exaggerate, considering supes was trying to stop an apocalypse after all.

I'm just saying he could have been a better superhero. And this is completely unrelated to my genuine dislike of superman. I promise 😄

Except that MOS was pretty much his first day as a superhero, and he stopped the end of the world.

^ And he didn't have a whole team to coordinate a rescue effort fighting off the alien invasion.

He had those powers his entire life, just because he wore the suit for the first time doesn't mean that was his first time being super.

There was no rescue effort, it was just a super brawl in the city. Supes didn't even try to draw the fight outside the city, no apparent concern for bystanders.

Don't be stupid. Superman only began testing his limits shortly before the Kryptonians arrived. He only learned to fly a day or two before they landed. And he did try to take the fight out of the city. He sent Zod into space, and Zod punched him back down.

How was he supposed to do that? Besides, nor did the Avengers. In fact they purposely tried to keep the fight within the city block they were in.

Don't be silly. He killed Zod due to his concern for innocent bystanders.

Did Supes do the best possible job he could do at saving inncocents? No. But he was a Newb and did save the Planet, and he had no Captain America and Black Widow to look out for the civilians while he battles the World Engine and stuff.

This criticism is just the critics nitpicking, and it really has no basis.

The Avengers were also in a different situation where they weren't the prime targets. So if they left the Aliens wouldn't follow so they opted to keep it contained instead limiting the amount of damage as much as possible.

They were still thinking of limiting civilian harm.

Except Zod literally said he was going to kill every human on the planet just to hurt Supes. Ergo, if Supes just left, Zod would simply go on a murder spree until he came back.

which is why I believe that Batman will beat up Kal in their first fight even though Batman v. Superman should take place anywhere from 6 months to a 1 year later and then after that there should be some form of respect between the two

No way. I remember someone asked Snyder about who win, and he just laughed, and said Batman has no chance.

lol, do you really, really think that Snyder would actually admit that Batman would/could actually beat Kal??? They have fought in the comics, in animated film so why not in their very first cinematic meeting.. Its gonna happen i do believe and Batman will win.. I said it before and will say it again with this new version of Batman being described as war torn and weary, that has always told me that he could be the prep God that he is in the comics. Since I think that Batman v. Superman will take place sometime after Man of Steel we won't know exactly the time frame until the film finally comes out and will give us clear indication what this Batman can and cannot do

Oh there will be a proper fight between them. Synder's confirmed that. And it won't just be a "verbal" or "psychological" fight. Synder's said it will be "a physical confrontation."

But as long as there's Kryptonite (or some other form of Kryptonian weakness exploitation), and as long as it's made clear that Supes isn't going for the kill, and as long as they somehow find a way to have the fight look good visually (None of that Superman Returns crap where Lex and his goons just b**** slap him like he's some ordinary p***y!)... As long as all those factors are in place, then I don't think it really matters who wins.

It seems like Goyer is writing less of the movie than originally thought and that the Argo writer is doing the bulk of it.

Introducing WonderWoman & yet no media focus on her means she's the leverage to the battle & will prob side with Batman.

i seriously doubt WB would do the complete opposite of what's going on in their comics. If anything Wondy will play the middle and be the person who makes them stop fighting each other.

Point is, who's to really say?

I mean she sided with Batman when it come to taking Supes' cousin back to Paradise Island. She was willing to battle Supes with her Amazon warriors behind her to prove a point.

As long as she shares the same planet, she's gonna have to choose a side.
That, or she's just gonna be eye-candy in the background.

So what?
Is the story line going to be so convoluted that the average movie goer NEEDS to be up to date with every comic plot?
