huh?

that's not what I said.

I said i doubt WB would do the reverse of what's currently happening in their comics. They're keeping things parallel in the animated movies and even Superman's personality in MoS is very similar to how it is in the New 52.

Wondy and Superman might even trade blows at one point, but i seriously doubt Wondy will choose Batman's side, romantically or otherwise. Whether the majority of people who go see this movie are familiar with the comics or not, i doubt WB will allow Snyder to go in the complete opposite direction of their current stories.

The New 52...bleh.
Even DC's editor described it as a "Soft Reboot."

Have you actually read any of the new stuff?

To be honest, I haven't read or followed a title in years.
But I did read the premise behind the NEW 52, resetting all the titles back to no. 1 then choosing which origins to keep while changing & ignoring others...
Even DC themselves said it was a marketing ploy to get new readers in.

but you know people will go crazy especially on here..

Really don't think anyone in WB will give a donkey how crazy people are going in KMC Lol. Or even how crazy the general hardcore fans will be screaming.

All they will care is that the movie will be entertaining to your general audience.

The movies are far bigger than the comics. I really can't see them limiting their story possibilities merely due to what the comics are currently doing.

Anyway, I like the idea of Wonder Woman teaming up with Batman to take down the "rouge" Superman at the behest of Luthor. Has a lot of potential.

It seems like Goyer is writing less of the movie than originally thought and that the Argo writer is doing the bulk of it.

Good news. Goyer is a good ideas man but his scripts always leave much to be desired.

He had those powers his entire life, just because he wore the suit for the first time doesn't mean that was his first time being super.

it was his first time using his powers in any sort of combat. hell, he only learned to fly near the start of the movie.

he was still new to most of his powers. heat vision too.

There was no rescue effort, it was just a super brawl in the city. Supes didn't even try to draw the fight outside the city, no apparent concern for bystanders.

he saved the world, though.

why would batman work with luthor?

Because Luthors a stand-up guy who rebuilt the city wantonly destroyed by a powerful, mad alien menace. A visionary with the will and means to protect mankind from evil invaders.

Pretty much. I like the idea that Wayne and Luthor are working together to rebuild Metropolis. It serves as a good way to bring Wayne there. Then, he decides to take down Superman who he sees as far too reckless and dangerous. Sorta like what happens in the Luthor comic.

And he realizes him and Luthor can't take Supes down by themselves so he enlists Wonder Woman's help, realizing he needs the power of a goddess to fight a god.

At least I hope Wonder Woman is involved in some major way like that.

I agree, remember I said something similar about how movie studios don't care what people on message boards think.. Even though I hate the idea of Affleck as Bruce/Batman I really do hope he is good and I hope the film is so really good ..

Batman working with Lex? Hard to see that happening even in this kind of movie, though if he does, hopefully he sees Luthor for the snake that he is later and redeems himself when it comes to Superman or something. IDK

Can't foresee Batman working with Lex unless Batman has some sort of plan

however since this is being rewritten by someone who has never wrote a comic book film than anything is entirely possible

Also in World's Finest comics.
It wasn't to say they were allies but more so that Bruce could keep an eye on Luthor before exposing his ulterior motives, as Batman.

Whose to say Batman even knows Luthor is evil? He would probably realize as he works with him, but there may have been no reason to investigate him before hand. So yeah they could easily be working together at first.

which is why i think if they do work together than Batman has some sort of plan .. I can see a similar scenario from Superman/Batman: Public Enemies where Bruce has scenes with Lex and he is determining should I trust this man?

Another rumour says Aquaman is in it too, but not called Aquaman.

Something about the World Engine in Mos affecting/destroying marine life.

And that WonderWoman infiltrates Wayne Industries to steal back an artefact of her people.
