I quote Bane almost every day. He's so f.ucking quotable and menacing. I still say that Tom Hardy did just as good of a job at his role as Heath did with The Joker.

Tom Hardy did well as Bane although he was far to short. The main problems with bane were note with Tom hardy though. It was the writers, costume designers, and who ever came up with that terrible choreography

I didn't even notice Bane's lack of height because everything else about Bane made it clear that he was about to kick Bruce's ass.
I didn't mind Bane's costume or mask either. If anything, the way he looks in the movie has become more iconic than his Mexican wrestler comic book appearence, but I agree about the fight choreography. I adore the Nolan Trilogy with every fiber of my being, but the fact that Bale Batman looks less like one of the worlds best fighters and more like a drunken bar brawler puts quite a damper on things. The fact that he didn't use any of his gadgets on Bane when it was clear as day that he was a physical juggernaut was equally unforgivable.
Bane's backstory was fantastic. I loathe the people who believe that Talia was controlling him or that he was just a "puppet" or "henchman" of Talia, because there's literally nothing in the movie that suggests this.

The problem with Banes costume is this. It is not the mask, the mask was cool, iconic, and bad-ass. Its the stupid bulletproof vest he wears around. Look at him with out it
He looks freaking huge. Yea I think bane should have been a shirtless villain. or atleast something less bulky than that vest
Can you even tell there is a Bane behind that thing?
I really don't like that stupid vest
