You need judges.

Yeah, aren't judges required for a Battlezone?

We can sort out that mess afterwards. I'd rather just go balls deep into the debate than haggle over judges at this point.

Setting up a match.

I figured I’d go ahead and spell this out to avoid a bunch of unnecessary PM’s asking how to do it, so pay attention because setting up a match is a fairly simple process….

Step 1. Poster A challenges Poster B to a match. This can be through direct challenge on Poster B’s team thread, PM, a post in the Battlezone discussion thread, or even an open call on the Off Topic thread for all I care.

Step 2. If Poster B accepts, the two decide on the specific type of match they want and any match conditions they both feel are appropriate(I.E. the battle location, no speedblitze, prep time, no Godblast, etc.)

Step 3. After the conditions are decided, 3 judges for the match are agreed upon and asked to judge the match.

Step 4. Someone(be it one of the judges or one of the participants) post the opening for the match thread(listing any and all match conditions), at which point the match can begin.

Step 5. After one week the judges vote on the match in question, deciding on a winner.

There are rules to this kind of thing, no? Otherwise, what's the difference between a Battlezone and a normal thread, save the posters?

Just basically a one on one matchup where we decide on the stips.

You're arguing for Ganondorf's humanoid form, right ?

In character, decapitation, night. All acceptable, no objections there.

On my end? Ganondorf gets the Triforce of Power, naturally. All powers he has shown (...in Twilight Princess, fine) are usable. Hm, fight in Hyrule Field?

I am not arguing he needs to defeat each boss to face the next version of Ganondorf. If he decapitates one versions head then he dies.

I'm simply saying all of Ganondorf's shown powers are available. If Ganondorf would in character deem Beast Ganon necessary, I will argue that he will use it. Besides, the first stage of that boss fight is Puppet Zelda and she isn't exactly around to be possessed. If we're basing this off the game then the actual Ganondorf fight starts in Beast mode and later goes to Gerudo.

But for convenience' sake we'll say he starts as a Gerudo and may transform if he so chooses.

Well, if he dies in beast mode he dies for the battle.

Not a problem.

You do realize he is going to die, right ?

We'll let the battlezone decide who dies.

Dorf is a goner.

Say your goodbyes everyone.

We starting the trash talk, then?

Who is trash talking ? I'm just giving his nerd fans the chance to say goodbye.

Why? Anyone even passingly familiar with the Zelda series knows Ganondorf always comes back. There are no goodbyes, only times we'll meet again.

Because Hes routinely beaten by sissies who can't quite finish the job.

It's not their fault Ganondorf can't be put down. When that guy's around nobody can finish the job.

Link should massacre the body but oh no he doesn't. Weak hero is all that is required to put down a weak villain, apparently.

Gabondorf's come back from worse. Russell will fail, just like all the others.

Link succeeds basically every time. Russell managed to live for 3,000 years in a progressive world. Dorf can't even live through an adventure.
