Point: DC may have intended for them to be the same character, but they did a piss-poor job depicting them the same... Shit, they didn't even give them the same origin. srsly

Well Kal-L did solo that whole team minus Amazing man plus Dr. Fate. Also Citizen steel owned Gog.

Superman oneshotted Earth-man with the power of whole Legion. He has done some ridiculous shit.

For the first half, Superman was powerless except for a Legion flight ring and regained his abilities when the Sun turned yellow. I have no idea how a simple flight ring allowed him to tussle with Earth Man like that but whatever.

Anyways, saying Superman just one shot Earth Man is very deceiving. Not that his durability was exactly spectacular without relying on Ultra Boys invulnerability.

Earth-Man had a very potent healing factor thanks to Chameleon girl. That coupled with durability from Ultra Boy and Blok (surprise, you forgot about him again) was the reason he was shrugging off everything. Superman did oneshot him or do you see only what you want to see.

Shrugging off everything? He was getting beat up and the only time he shrugged off anything was with intangibility. Even powerless Superman was able to tussle with him. I'm not sure how Earth Man's powers stack but the only time he referenced invulnerability was when he used Ultra Boy's one power at a time only ability.
