Well, in that show they tried to make the people seem as different as possible, hence the people like Apache Chief and such. Aquaman, even pre crisis (from what little I've read of it), was a physical powerhouse. That sort of went by the wayside after COIE, though he was still punching through submarine hulls and the like.
He only really started to get back to his former glory when Peter David came along.

With some KMC posters seriously arguing Cap KOing Hulk is NOT PIS (Trust me, it's happened.), and lately PIS like Spidey beating down Firelord getting argued seriously, I think my thread is a fair one. 😛
But ftr, I think Aquaman wins, and puts up a fight in the process. (Maybe he can't really KO Aquaman, but he can hit hard enough to make Aquaman notice..)
