We established link looses more than 80% of the time. We're trying to see how well he does against the man of steel, not the outcome of the battle.

No, the only thing undecided is how fanatical you can be with regards to these Zelda characters.

Page 1 covered that without the Triforce Link is indeed hopeless here, yes. But he does have it, which makes the result of this thread unknowable. (tm) Though Supes 'should' not be able to kill Link due to not needing a physical body.

Why wouldn't he need a physical body?

I know Ganondorf doesn't but that because the ToP is inside him. But, to my knowledge, we have never seen the full triforce in one being.

Link is capable of doing just that because his heart is in balance, and in SS he does transport it that way, if only briefly, before abandoning it because PIS.
