Why do people hate Americans?

Many people across the world still burn the American flag. Mainly Muslims (right wing Muslims who would prefer Women caged up).

Saying that - I'm not any Muslim, I'm just a realist. The U.S.A. Government has done worse to their own countrymen/women than anyone else. The Civil rights movement, slavery, Banks (in turn the Government) and War.

Australia always backs them up. Years ago it was the British but not now. Australia is link to China, as we have Mineral resources more than most countries on Earth.

Point being I have often been told from non Americans that a nice portion of their negative opinions can be influenced by our pop culture. It might seems hypocritical but it's what I have been told from multiple people. :/

First of all, not all American countries are hated. USA is the most criticized American nation till date. Reasons include:

1. Unjust official policies (double-standards included)
2. Misguided belief in self-supremacy over rest of the world
3. Extreme criticism of other cultural norms and values which may not be identical to shitty culture of USA (Americans should learn to mind their own business).
4. Promotion of immorality
