Technically, yeah, Force users should be able to bypass physical barriers, because, excepting physical manifestations such as lightning, the Force does not have to travel through space-time and appears to be instantaneous.

Comic-verse Magneto, however, has a ridiculous set of wank-barriers and shields, and has battled both telepaths and telekinetics.

Magneto would have no problem preventing Vader or the Sith/Jedi in question who's supposed to be crushing his helmet. That helmet won't move an inch if Magneto resists.

Don't exactly understand the second one.

Magneto has opened wormholes in the past IIRC as well.

Based on his insane control over metal and the electromagnetic spectrum , if he wanted he could just break the helmet down. He's shrugged off and blocked telepaths and telekinetic attacks. What evidence is there to say that someone can crush his helmet and skull?

That's cool and all (no sarcasm), it's impressive and destructive, Magneto can match that destruction just in a different way. I'm pretty sure he could **** up planets to in the SWU.

No they didn't, I think he just popped one to absorb a bunch of energy based attacks and save his allies at the time, he wasn't using it offensively I believe.

Vader has force choked people light years away. If there's any sort of distance from Bats or Magneto, Vader wins.

Magneto has pulled an adamantium bullet from light years away that was big enough to destroy the planet. He pulled it to Earth, removed Shadowcat from the bullet and opened a wormhole to get rid of it before destroying the planet.

So Magneto will use such a thing to destroy Vader along with himself?

No, Magneto will crush his suit, shut the suit down among plenty of other things depending on the battlefield. I only mentioned that feat to match that Magneto can use his powers lightyears away as well. Even an old and weakened/poisoned Magneto was able to beat Proteus, a powerful reality warper. The thought of him losing to a choke is just ludicrous.

Step 1: Vader raises his arm.
Step 2: Vader clenches his fist.
Step 3: The Bat dies via throat crunch.
