If it's going to make an actual discussion possible, please explain the position exactly as you understand it so we can ensure we're both on the same page.
Whoohoo!

I see part of the movement as a backlash against the "community" for trying to make sexuality seem ironclad. I cannot speak for all of it because I know very little.

Unless you believe that it is only possible to go from pretty dang straight to pretty dang gay, it makes no sense to assume no one’s sexuality can never change from “gay” to “straight.” Yes, our choices and environment really do influence our sexuality. No one is “born gay” or "born straight." That’s just stupid.

Just to be clear, I think sexuality can be dynamic...mostly because of science.http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/4056398
There are more groups than those that like to label themselves as part of the "LGBT community" that would fit into "community" as I used it.
So any group that chooses to be part of the community that puts forth the notion that sexuality is static would be anyone part of that community that the backlash, as mentioned in one of my quotes, would be against.
Can you think of any groups, outside of "LGBT", that might hold that sexuality is static?
If you can, there's your answer. If you can't, too bad, you'll just have to stick with LGBT as your only answer. 🙁
But, I warn against that conclusion: not everyone in the LGBT group thinks that sexuality is static. 😐
Let me know what else you'd like to not actually talk about.
