it did cross my mind that qui gon would be pretty old. but dooku was too remember? of course, dooku WAS using the dark side of the force....

i have hard that qgj was going to be coming back in ep3 in spirit form...don't know if its true or not.

My way of thinking as well. I think the duel in Star Wars: A New Hope already demonstrates that Vader became Obi Wan's responsibility to stop, and there would be no interference from Qui Gon Jinn in any capacity. As to what part the slain jedi master will play in Episode 3 we will have to wait and see.

how and more importantly why would qui gon put in the order for the clones? i don't believe that the movies make any references or hints to that idea.
