the thing is strong enough to hurt doomsday and with torch and sue there and him not being immune to everything yet they could take him down without prep.
hunterprey doomsday they would need prep but dos doomsday the fur could take him without it.

And/or maybe Reed will underestimate H/P Doomsday because for some reason the JLA's files are all outdated or have no files on him???
I don't get the whole "needs to build a device" either considering he can just grab a random thing out of his closet and take him out.
The bamboozling the F4 with a different Doomsday though doesn't make sense. Apparently Reed will bring out something with just enough oomph to beat DOS and nothing more.
