You mean to tell me Thor was more powerful than those Gods Atum devoured (which included Hell Lords like Mephisto)? Of course not. It's not about power. It's just Thor's tenacity.

A dying King Thor was holding Gorr. If anything, the shock kept him in place.
Gorr pushed THREE Thors sh|t in and had them unconscious and at his mercy. Fight over. Gorr lost because of plot and you know it.
Neither could Galactus at one point. That doesn't hurt the character.
Unoriginal in what aspect? That he's a god killer? That's like damning capes because they've done before. Disliking a character is fine, that's opinion, but bashing one for no reason, is just that. Just like disliking an arc is opinion, but attributing negatives that aren't there, is also just that.

Although funny how Thor is the low feat considering Thor absorbed the entire God Bomb

Thor's showings against Galactus had context. Thor's faced him when he was hungry/starving or distracted by another powerful being (Odin).
He IS unoriginal (see Desak, Demogorge, etc...).
He is the greatest of the gods, agreed.
Gorr lost because Thor was more worthy of his power than he was. He got stripped from it, it happens.
No, Gorr lost due to ego. He could've killed them, but then again he could have also killed Thor when both fought before he went into the future. It's all part of the story. Just like Thor could've killed Gorr when he caught him unawares, yet decided to hit him with lightning instead of a godblast. Overlooking the events like you're doing will always produces results like "plot based victories" when they're really not.
When he killed Demogorge, the fight also had context. He stuck him repeatedly in the heart.
Completely different outlooks, origins, powersets, looks, but they all kill gods so they must be unoriginal. Concession accepted 👆

Regarding Demogorge, Demogorge was humiliated by a single Thor crushing his heart. How does this make what Thor did to Demogorge LESS humiliating?!

He lost because of THOR and his ego. So did Thor. He could've taken his head off during their first encounter. Instead he took his arm.
It's humiliating to get hurt by Thor now? What high end being has Thor failed to damage? One of his only failures came at the hands of Bendis against CC Thanos.

Gorr lost to P L O T. We already seen THREE THORS at his feet and unconscious and that wasn't the first time he beat a Thor.

Again stalker, what happened later? Atum had his heart crushed by Thor. NuDemogorge is a joke.
It's the same theory as Ego. People are literal fleas to him until they go to his brain.
It'd be like a midget being inside you and punching your heart. The midget couldn't have killed you if he were outside your body... I hope, but he sure as shit can if he's just punching and headbutting your heart directly.

Quick question Branlor, when Thor was crushing NuDemogorge's heart, did he have Mjolnir?
Originally posted by zopzopBut Thor wasn't 'gone' yet. But he would have been if Mjolnir didn't go back to him and let him remember who he was. At that point he was just Thor who Mjolnir punched Demo in the heart.
There's just one little problem with your midget example my friend. Thor was dead and on his way into Demogorge's maw, which is where all dead Gods do. So it's no like it was some grand strategy on Thor's part to get inside Demogorge and cause havoc. Also keep in mind this has happened before to Classic Demogorge (attacked from the inside) but instead of the humiliation that NuDemogorge suffered, Classic Demogorge just came to realize that it wasn't time for the current crop of Gods to die and he let them all go.Quick question Branlor, when Thor was crushing NuDemogorge's heart, did he have Mjolnir?
Classic Demo wasn't midget punched in the heart though.
Yes.
Do you think Thor would have killed Demo if he was on the outside of him?

And you base this on Thor hitting him in a rather delicate spot... and by delicate I mean his ****ing heart over and over? So, you think that destroying a heart = the ability to kill that being in a natural setting?
Originally posted by zopzopThat doesn't make sense, but I don't respect your ability to say it either.
Like I said, the way Marvel is going now? Yes. Common sense and the current crop of Marvel writers are strangers to each other.
