Superman Prime( Guardian Amp) VS Odin: SLUGFEST

Comments like "he was just a few years away from getting beat up by Wondergirl and Superboy solo".....(oh how he would love for that to happen) dipicts the attitude towards Prime.

Emphasis is even being placed on the final Teen Titans battle which was an obvious wrap up to clear way for the reboot. The thread has Guardian amped Prime in the title but this just appeared out of thin air. 😐

😐

Are you blind or is your butthurt temporarily removing your ability to utilize eyesight?

It wasn't me that randomly brought up Prime against the Teen Titans. I was simply discussing a point someone else mentioned.

Even teammates of Prime suffer from the lowball effect. In this case Mordru.

1. I guess Prime laughing off of an Odin attack would be inconceivable though right?
2. How is Prime vulnerable like Superman when he has shown total invulnerability towards magical powers throughout his history. 😐
3. It wasn't a similar attack. Superman was being contained in a bubble by Mordru until Kinetix distracted him. Prime no sold energy projection. [as you can see wolverinos, even flat out lies are concocted in effort to discredit Primes mystical resistance]
4. Rond and his shield were overwhelmed by scatter shots from Mordru alone. (of course we won't hear about that)
5. "might even stalemated him" 😐 Really?

Yes wolverinos the hate/lowballing/downplaying has been verified.

😂

Bringing up Mordru's only showings in that comic is me lowballing? WTF? The only other feats he had as far as I can tell is drain some power from a dozen Legion members with a huge power up.

1. Yes, it would be.
2. Learn to read. I said most people assume he's as vulnerable as Superman.
3. Superman was blasted and not being contained in a bubble. Learn to look at the pretty pictures:

4. I posted the entire battle. Rond blocked Mordru's blasts and at one point created a barrier that held out against Mordru with help.
5. Did you not notice the part where I said I wasn't sure, and then went on to post scans?

You didn't quote anyone. Funny how this Teen Titans fight rears it's ugly head in unrelated threads. You couldn't wait to elaborate.

1.Ok he can tank Mordru but no chance in hell he could tank Odin. Gotcha
👆 Exactly the unreasonable answer I expected.
2. Like who? 😂
3. How ironic, how about you blow the scene up for us then.
4. Good feat but Mordru still got through without help.
5. If you're not sure you may wanna check first. It'll save you from having to correct yourself and looking guilty of lowballing for the time being.

I think that's about it.

Hm, thinking about it.. When Doom took down Odin, wasn't it purely with Big G's power? He had a Cosmic Cube, but he didnt' really notice when it went missing, which he should have if he was tapping into it's power..

He was hungry the entire time in Secret Wars iirc.

He seemed to stop using the Cube when he got Galactus' power. Which the Cube dropping and him not noticing sure didn't help prove he was actively using it.

But yeah, that part's debatable.

I didn't realize I had to directly quote someone to discuss a point they brought up. Especially since I focus on the topic they discussed. 😬

1. I'm glad you're satisfied. But Prime laughing off the most basic attack of Mordru -who wasn't exactly impressive in this arc- means jack shit against Odin and completely irrelevant unless you think he's going to finger flick Prime in this thread. Especially since Odin isn't pure magic.
2. Like Kinetix assumed and was then corrected by Bart? Like when Mordru brought up helping discover Superboy's very weakness to magic against Superman? 😬
3. You know you can click the scan to enlarge it right?
4. No, he specifically didn't and it required Persuader's axe.
5. Okay, thanks for the advice? I'm sorry that I'm only human and Rondo didn't exactly stalemate Mordru. 😬

^
Teen Titans fight has no bearing in this thread. That's for whoever brought it up/elaborater.

1.It's ok, Prime has extremely high invulnerability towards energy projection in general to go along with the magical resistance. But since it's a slugfest he won't even need it.

2.Oh you meant in the story. You made a comparison to Superman being attacked in order to downplay Mordru's blast on Prime. As long as we all know Superman would be waaay more phucked by comparison then no prob.

3. I did and you're so wrong it's hillarious.

4. Ok so now you won't even acknowledge it. In fact, you lie and say he didn't. Look closely at the first few panels.

5. It's just that it's not the first time that it's happened with you but whatevas.

Then why the hell did you bring it up again? 😬

1. So you agree with my points then? Okay.

2. Of course in the story. Why would posters knowing Superman has a weakness to magic be relevant to Mordru's opinion? WTF? Superman was blasted by Mordru and he took the blast pretty well.

3. You think calling that attack a blast instead of a bubble is hilariously wrong? Whatever.

4. I was talking about when the Legion escapes. Although its pretty amusing calling me a liar when I literally posted the entire sequence of events a mere two pages ago:

Rond vs. Mordru and the others:

Rond was so badass here, I had to post the entire fight, not just the one against Mordru.

Anyways, I think Mordru can definitely be a real power house but in this mini? He has no business cleaning Odin's shoes when he's at his best. His greatest feat was draining some power from a dozen Legion members with a massive power up. That's three different showings (His only showings?) indicating a general power level.

Clearly I'm trying to misinform people by posting full scans.

5. I can guarantee that it doesn't happen often and I clarified my stance along with scans. What more do you want? Instead of replying on a whim, how about you actually read the entire page and get caught up on the discussion in the future? Saves me time having to clear this nonsense up.

^
That was an obvious response to you wanting to "discuss" it.

1. Nope, Prime would tank it.

2. You tried to downplay Prime tanking Mordru's blast by saying what you thought was a similar attack couldn't contain Superman so you're alluding to it being weak or something despite Superman having help. I don't lose track
of what was being implied despite the twists being added.

3.Yep I'm still laughing.

4. I don't care what you were talking about, did you not say "he didn't"? You said he didn't but he did. You reposting scans doesn't take back your words. I'm sorry, was this another one of those "mistakes"?

5. Don't ask me to reply on a whim. If I see obvious lowballing/nitpicking/downplaying concerning Prime I will address it. Just like our not even 2 month member wolverinos can already spot it, I have spotted it long ago and I'm just sick of seeing it.

A badly formed question on my part.

Given the restriction to it being a slugfest, coupled with Prime's abilities, where does the Guardian amp put Superman Prime in relation to Odin?

😂 So you are comparing antimatter to Galactus durability? Now that is hilarious, freaking hilarious. Him withstanding energy doesnt have a thing to do with Galactus durability. Hulk withstood antimatter, guess that means he is more durable than Galactus too huh?

excuse me, is galactus head suppose to be more durable and more damaging with impact than the anti matter? because as far as i remember, in that same arc Thor busted his head by flying straight into it, the anti matter on the other hand burned a Guardian.

in that particular arc it was obvious that Thor> Galactus durability.
therefor you bringing odin being able to do something thor was able to accomplish as well is a joke.

Hulk? first of all how did you come to those idiotic calculations? did anyone ever teach you math? thats just wrong.
by your opinion Prime being more durable than anti matter = hulk being more durable than anti matter = hulk being more durable than galactus? seriously i would punch you so hard in the face for your stupidity its not even funny.

What the f*ck are you talking about? Post evidence of me sending hate mail to any writer. Do you even know what hate mail is? Anyways, one more word about this and I'll actually report you unless you can back it up fangirl.

They were in free fall from orbit and lay there for some time before Thor/Surfer got back. This was not a few seconds.

Thor hurt Galactus with Mjolnir. Odin knocked him out using his head. No, I don't agree with either of those points as they are not mutually exclusive.

stop crying like a girl, everybody know you are sending hate mails to writers once they portray thor not to your liking, get over it crybaby.

was there any time period stated between the recovery? besides what was so great about that? Odin accomplishing something thor later did? and dying after that? Lol.

Lol thor always use mjolnir when he fight physically, he is too much of a coward to fight like a man H2H, so he goes up and using a sladge hammer Lol.
anyway as i pointed out thor using mjolnir is something he always does,so his basic striking = what he did to galactus.
it was obvious to the dumbest people that galactus had a very crappy durability in that arc and that was PIS.

Debatable. He fed a dead planet prior to the fight with Odin. Doubt that kind of nutrition lasts as long as a 4 world feast.

I don't see any axe there. An invisible axe must have shattered the shield just because Rage said so, and he posted the scans of the entire fight so he must be right, never mind the fact that mordru is shown blasting the shield before shatter.
😂

Think he meant at the end, when SBP talks to Persuader.

Smh.

I posted the scans, I can't read them for you too:

As I pointed out, I was talking about the above scene. I was thinking of sporting my old Superman sig but I'm worried it might make me dumber if recent posts are any indication.

Okay.

Like I told you earlier, they fell from orbit and laid there until Surfer/Thor arrived from Mars. It was not a few seconds or anything of the sort.

He did not die but fake entered the Odin Sleep. I posted the scan.

Whatever you say.

So you accuse of bringing up an irrelevant topic (Which wasn't me btw) by bringing up said irrelevant topic and when I reply, it's irrelevant again? How about you just let it die or make up your mind?

1. Laughing off Mordru's fire crackers doesn't mean he can tank Odin nuking his ass.

2. Posting a comparison from the same comic and bringing up every instance of a similar attack is not downplaying. There is literally no other feats for Mordru by which we may judge his power levels. When he started draining the Legion, he had a huge amp in power. Superman did tank a similar attack despite his magical weakness. Throw in the fact that most characters assume Prime has a similar weakness, and I really don't know how the scene with Mordru can be used as evidence of Prime laughing off anything more then a fart from Odin.

4. I already clarified what scene I was referring to. And for the record, Mordru only broke through Rond's construct when he looked away and was unable to do so even with aid when he was focused on maintaining the barrier.

5. I'm not asking you to reply on a whim, I'm asking you to read the entire page at least before coming in half-arsed because posting scans that put Prime's feats into perspective hurt your feelings.

😂 Yes, using Wolverinos to support your posts is a great tactic. He's an excellent example of sanity, consistency, and is in general a well adjusted person. 😬
