The scan is pretty much explanatory, case u still think that DCNU Superman's speed is way above Surfer's ability to react though there's been more than a few posters here who disproven u in that stead.

Ok, so Surfer is good at calculations. I wouldn't have ever denied that.

BTW, You do realize that in that scan, whatever that was-was trying to get away from Surfer and Superman would be coming towards him, right?

The day when I stop assuming you look like Dean Winchester will be a sad one.

Everything disturbs you, you are too sensitive.

Dude u ever read the scan u posted.

Heck read the midnighter sun u posted and it'll explain why he got tagged there.. Lol

Yes, because he was too slow to land a single attack untill he fired an energy blast upon an unsuspecting midnight sun using his infra-red vision. He also got blitzed by spidey after he said he wouldn't hold back anymore under psycho-man's influence.

quan, stop cheerleading.

the fact that you're still on this forum says the opposite.

Just because I haven't been here doesn't mean I haven't been reading comics.

Hulk is fast, yes, but as usual, you jump the gun in trying to put him in the same group as Superman. He's nowhere close.

I agree.

Magneto is super-duper fast too.

I'm saying by the time he does hit Superman, surfer will have already taken a full unleashed super blitz.

facepalm

it's a super speed argument and who is faster at what. A blitz is just an advanced attack via the combinations of multiple types of speed powers "travel, combat, reflex, etc."

No, a "blitz" is:

2. any sudden intensive attack or concerted effort

Stop making up definitions in your head.

Show surfer blitzing, or don't.

Surfer attacked Nova Prime (a bona fide speedster himself unlike the GL) suddenly and intensively (getting in several hits before he could react). That is the definition of a blitz.

Bear in mind that I am not saying that the Surfer is faster than Superman, I am simply countering your implication that DCNU Superman is much faster than Surfer.

You have been given several instances of Surfer's combat speed on panel, your time to put up your own evidence or concede your point.

Speed was not the issue but the ability to see was..

Spidey = Piss

Are you in full "Irish wrath" mode right now?

You haven't provided a single scan proving your case though.

Goes far more than speed processing, also reaction time as teleportation = instantaneous.

Gotta go for now.

Midnight sun was dancing around him before the darkness and surfer even commented on it saying "you're elusive".

Three times PIS? Haha.

Ganymede also danced around him until he quit holding back. The ability to see changes things. Undeniable.

No teleportation is instantaneous. Superman searched the whole earth while tracking a cloaked teleportation beam in a minute BTW.

But wait, teleportation is instantaneous!!!

Sure he did.

Yes this teleportation was.

Anyhow I'll addressed this later gotta go.

Stop making up definitions in your head.

See where it says "sudden"? Yeah, that's the charge part... See where it says "concerted"? That's the flurry part.

Let's go ahead and cite all the definitions, shall we?

blitz [blits] Show IPA
noun
1.
Military .
a.
an overwhelming all-out attack, especially a swift ground attack using armored units and air support.
b.
an intensive aerial bombing.
2.
any swift, vigorous attack, barrage, or defeat: a blitz of commercials every few minutes.
3.
Football. act or instance of charging directly for (the passer) as soon as the ball is snapped; red-dogging.

I will, once you show me Surfer blitzing. Show him charging and flurrying.

GL is a speedster himself. He reacted in nanoseconds.

Heh.

That's what you're suggesting as a speed feat, right?

His definition is supported but yours is not. You made up your own definition and are using a word which doesn't have your own made up definition for it.
