I think he meant to quote abhi, after all he is the one saying that Superman either sucks at using his senses or that the senses themselves are not very powerful.

The guy is still rather new. He has some solid senses feats...but he is obviously no where near his post crisis counterpart. That may be why you think you over estimated him.

Because I assumed pinpointing people using his super hearing would be a piece of cake. Only to find out its way beyond his capabilities.

For now. And I wouldn't put it "way beyond his capabilities" just has not learned to/shown it.

But is his control over his senses so terrible to the point where he can't rely on them at all to find people on the planet? To the point where he has to solely rely on searching an entire planet physically, just to locate someone. That would be pretty bad.

I don't know. I don't really know the instance we're talking about and I would have to look for my comics. Kindda lazy right now. But rest assured the truth is the opposite of whatever abhi says.

True, even guys like Daredevil can track people in a city, yet Superman's appear to be so bad that he has to physically check every nook and cranny of the planet.

At this rate, Captain America probably has better senses. 😈

He at least has better than surfer, who apparently searched the whole planet and still couldn't find namor. That's what surfer fans tell us though.
