See: Firefly, etc. for details.

Thats true but all he does is complain that the show is bad so why watch it and complain and care about the rating

then the ratings should show that...

if this show wants to get better ratings, it NEEDS better acting and storytelling, which it does not have.. perhaps the second half of the season will change that [/B][/QUOTE]

Firely is an example was a great show yet the ratings were bad.

Great show though

i am going to watch WTF i am going to watch... fact is this show is terrible and people outside of message boards know that due to the show losing ratings each week.. in order for this show to last and be good each week has to do with the actors and the people who are writing it..

Firefly was a great cult show. It had low ratings because there wasn't enough hype and knowledge of the show.

MAOS on the other hand doesn't have that excuse for falling ratings. It had huge hype and ratings for it's first episode due to the hype of being part of the Avengers movie verse.

However , I don't think ratings are that bad for the show. From what I can see the number of viewers are still a lot higher than say Arrow. (Presumably because it's aired on a bigger network).

Everything you said is true I personally dont think the show is bad people just love to complain. Personally I love the show that's just me though.

Keep watching that will show them how bad a show MAOS is.

I think people were just expecting better tbh. That's the price Marvel and Whedon will pay for their mega success now. Every time they make something which isn't "amazing" people will complain.

Personally I think people were expecting Avengers on TV or at least superheroes on TV that was never going to happen. For one thing everything that happen on MAOS is cannon to the movies and viceversa so they are an a tight leash to begin.

OH, its a very bad show, if it were all that it wouldn't lose viewers and ratings each week.. at the very least, ratings would fluctuate each week, but they don't.. that tells me that what little viewers this show has knows and feels it isn't improving.. after the first show which was good, the writing has gotten horrible thus the piss poor acting from the actors/actresses involved. ..

Whedon NEEDS to review each script going forward and make necessary changes.. He sees the ratings numbers every wednesday morning

i think for the most part its good complaining and not necessarily bad complaining

Ill say this about the shoe, the woman in the flower dress is still damn fine

People weren't expecting a perfect show, they were expecting a show that wasn't basically 24 minus the badass.

And brown people.

If they wanted the show to be a police procedural, they should have made it more akin to Fringe.

It's nothing to do with that. We don't need superpowers to love a comic book action series- COUGH- ARROW -COUGH

But isn't Green Arrow a superhero non superpower-ed but a superhero nevertheless Shield agents are just smart well train government agents not a apple to apple comparison. Any how I like them both.

But that the thing it is a police procedural set in a world with superheroes. And making it more like Fringe is not a bad thing to me anyhow and cannot get into that show.

there isnt anything wrong with procedural shows, considering Castle and Bones are enjoyable. The only problem MAoS has is an underwhelming cast.

Audiences haven't been able to fall in love with these characters - and writing is only part of the problem.

The stories are good and the concept is good - better acting and writing makes this show a HUGE success.

In this case there's a thin line between "superheroes" and just regular "heroes."

Both based on comic book heroes. Neither has actual superpowers, but MAOS actually has the more futuristic and "superhero type" technology.

True but we need to remember that the whole reason for this show was to show is that in this post avengers world they are hero that are not superheroes the shows tag line is : not are hero are super but you are right with there tech it is a tin line.

Considering the way he was b**** slapped in IM3, I don't have high hopes for him doing anything noteworthy in Avengers 2.
