Thor vs Palpatine

Mistakes sure, he's still smart enough not to try and block a blow he'd know he couldn't now that prep/knowledge is in play.

Point is he isnt a god in the films and you're letting your comic book knowledge cloud your judgement.

I have repeatedly, you simply disregard any point that proves Thor is getting diced here more times than he's smashing Palpatine.

1. You haven't provided any evidence, just made assertions that I countered with scans and videos.

2. You haven't gotten anywhere near formulating a coherent, self-standing argument.

3. Thor wins.

Nice try though.

That's why I said he fries Palp from a distance.

If Palp tries to block mjolnir with his lightsaber, he's losing an arm.

Have. Nope.

Did so with the first post.

Thor loses his head.

There was no try, there was a do and I did.

[my pic was better]

Is Robtard legitimately dense or is he trolling? Not around this board often enough to tell the difference.

Thor has to call down lightning and charge mjolnir before he can shoot lightning; Palpatine can easily cover the 50 feet and decapitate him. So you just killed Thor.

I agree with Robert.

Thor beats the holy phuck out of Palpatine. We are talking a horrendously one-sided beating, here. 👆

Calm down, stop trolling. Thanks.

Nope. Thor proved in his fight against Loki that he can instantly call down lightning for a strike.

Or he can charge up his lightning, and as Palpatine covers that 50 feet to decapitate him, Thor launches one of his AOE attacks.

Which fight with Loki are you referring to exactly, the Bifrost?

Palpatine can cover ground pretty fast, as seen with his blitz and known Force-speed.

Facts don't seem to matter...it's like a certain poster hacked Rob's account.

Yup, the bifrost. Thor holds his hammer up and instantly gets a lightning strike. Palpatine can move fast but not that fast.

You're going full quan.

Both movie versions of the characters are slower than other incarnations. But you forget that decrepit silly all man can do flips and went toe to toe with a quicker-than-movie Thor-Yoda.

So yeah, he looks slow against Mace, but super against Yoda.

The one in the Yoda fight would disrupt every Thor strike (just about) with TK. Psychokinesis (even if it isn't lethal) is still a big hurdle to overcome. It's a force users primary defense.

Thor easily crushes Robtard's crush.

1. Note has fast Thor moves with his hammer in combat while flying.

2. Find an equivalent speed in the PT movies.

Wait, nevermind. No such thing exists. Even Yoda the rabid spidermonkey can't hold a candle.

You're wasting your time.

You're absolutely right. But I'm stuck here for another hour until work is over, so might as well.

Ah, that does sound right, my error. Though that could be because he was in Asgard, as every other time(?) he has to call it down first. But sure, it's in play here.
