There will be tons of destruction porn, 3rd act strong brick slugfests that level a city (zod, doomsday), excessive emotional situations , over the top fights (in a supposedly realistic take on these characters), hints at bigger threats (like Thanos but in this case Darkseid), annoying love interests, scowls and mad faces everywhere, religious symbolism, etc.
It is eerie how well this describes both DC and Marvel films. Though I personally have no issues with the over the top fights seen in the Marvel and DC movies.

I loved those films The critics from what I remember said otherwise. I don't care what other people think when it comes to my personal preference.
You mean to say you enjoyed the Airbender movie? But they really bastardized the Airbender product with that film. Have you ever seen the actual series the movie was based on?

Originally posted by Inhuman DCU formula will basically be the same as the MCU just change out the humor for forced edgy mature themes, and everything be dark, souless, and desaturated.

Thats why i already stated that exact thing in my post you quoted. The difference is that wb/dc is going "realistic", "mature' , and non silly route to their characters and universe. Yet the fight with Zod was over the top and resembled a dragonball Z cartoon fight. Felt out of place in a supposed "realistic and mature" take on their characters and source material. I have no issue wit over top fights either.

can't wait to download the 1080p rip when the bluray is released next month. 👆
I don't know if you're joking, but it wasn't a complete failure. It had some funny stuff to the movie, but like half the Marvel movies so far it was pretty forgettable and underwhelming. The villain was a joke, imo. This article pretty much sums up most of Marvel's villains.
