Barry, Mar-vell, and Superman had some very memorable and sad deaths.
I'm a little suprised that noboy mentioned Blue Beetle. One of my favorite deaths is Ted Kord's. After discovering Checkmate's evil plans, nearly escaping, and being beaten to within an inch of his life by Omac, he still had the balls to tell Maxwell Lord to go to hell. Needless to say it brought a manly tear to my eyes

The OP says iconic. Therefore, we have a somewhat objective measure by which to judge.
Superman, Barry, and Mar-vell are the only ones that truly lived on in the consciousness of fans. Hell, Superman's death made the news. Like, they talked about it in local newspapers across the country. In terms of transcending the medium, it's hard to top that.
So: Superman >>>>>>>> Barry/Mar-vell >>>>>>>>>>> Supergirl (for the pose) > everyone else.
There have been a lot of memorable deaths. But none scratch the surface of those I listed. Cap in Earth X is a personal favorite (Cap in 616 was a joke). But even that is far too niche to be considered iconic.
