Too many times, this point gets lost, and people automatically think I'm a global warming denier. That is the furthest from the truth. I simply think it is too late. We need to get busy moving cities. But this point also gets lost because of entrenched mentality.

For the same reason people inject their own meanings into religious text, so too do they inject their own meanings into the posts of others, necessitating that we constantly reaffirm or simplify our positions to avoid being misunderstood.

It doesn't help that English is a very ambiguous language.
