Pretty sure he was saying let's end the fight, not agreeing he was about to get knocked out or something.
And he did indeed take a big risk, he was about to take a punch from Superman to the back of the head.

BA was holding back against superman big time and still held him off. I do admit that supes has much better feats, but that does not make him superior to BA.
