X-Men: Apocalypse

Seen it. A bit of a snore fest tbh.

Just a couple of Non-Spoiler highlights..

Quicksilver has the best scenes again.

Best use of Cyclops so far in an X-Men movie, but still not even close to doing him justice. But definitely moving in the right direction.

Nightcrawler was good.

They're finally getting Magnetos power right. Only took 6 films.

I liked Magnetos character arc. Fassbender still steals his scenes.

Liked the new "First Class.."

But aside from those things, was trying to be Epic, but was pretty boring for the most part. And seemed like they were chewing on more characters than they could handle. Couldn't really point out a main character. But I'll go with Magneto as he's the only one with a character arc.

Singer needs to go now.

XM:A was so bad, it killed DT 🙁

Oh and I hated Apoc's look. Singer was talking S*** when he compared his look to how people initially felt about Quicksilver.

Hated Apoc's powers as well. Didn't seem anything like comic book Appc to me. But at least they went for a main villain who wasn't Magneto.

Shaw is still the best villain in this trilogy. Bring Vaughn back to direct the next one.

That's cool. I pointed out the parts I liked. Just think it was by far the weakest of the trilogy, and thought the 3rd Act could have been done much better. As could Apocalypse himself.

But yeah it's certainly no Last Stand/Spider-Man 3 end to the trilogy.

Its good a movie.....but i'm not trying to make out its in the the same caliber as TDK with that having alot of talking too in parts

also i'm starting to get sick of having to wait until the very end of the credits for the teasers now, Could easily show them earlier then that.

I am praying that Apoc is portrayed as uber as hell, then the Future Sentinels (which presumably killed him at some point) retroactively become all the more powerful...

I then get to argue them beating nearly anyone...

The end battle does Apoc justice.

Apoc dominates Xavier in a mental battle, whilst taking on Magneto, Quicksilver, Mystique , Cyclops and Storm. He isn't in any trouble until Jean turns into the Pheonix and Kills Apoc

Really? I thought he looked every bit as horrible as in the trailers. And I didn't feel the film did justice to his powers at all because of things like this:

I was talking about how formidable he seemed, plus his voice wasn't as bad as the trailers made out.
