So I heard for the Samus vs Boba Fett remastered, they're gonna include the Zero Suit form in the fight... Canonically though, it's never been real practical for combat; only stunning and running/hiding, but I guess they'll use it anyway because Smash.
It'll also be computer animated after all, so expect the fight to be longer this time regardless of who wins. I recently heard a lot of Boba's EU stuff is retconned or no longer canon, but death battle's been known to use non-canon stuff for characters anyway, so whatever.

Wow DB is getting too easy to call, saw that they were gonna pull that BS from a mile away. Definitely another for the disagreement list.
Not sure why you think that. The logic they used for that fight seemed legit. If it's because the sand coffin couldn't penetrate Toph's metal defense, anyone remember Kimimaro? Gaara couldn't crush his exterior and he was tough as, what, steel?
Where did Toph pull all that iron out of? There is no proof gaara had the gold after using it on 2nd Mizukage
When did Toph sand-bend?
How did Toph react to "speed of sound" attacks
Why couldn't gaara attack while in ultimate defense?
Why did they use pre shippuden Gaara's lower chakra?
I watched it once and all these holes appeared to me.
This was like bad fan fiction, when did Toph create multiple towers of stone?
I'm just saying it's becoming too predictable with the whole character who seems outclassed winning thing, they even used what I mentioned earlier about the gold sand along with the banter I was hoping they wouldn't resort to which was something along the lines of

Do I disagree, sure but it's whatever cause that's less of the point and more so the fact it's all becoming so predictable :/, I miss actually not knowing who was going to win. The only thing this fight now makes me curious of is how well Toph would stand up to Crocodile from One Piece.
Gaara should have been able to blitz Toph before she could even react. Nobody in Avatar (unless you try to use completely ridiculous outliers) could have been able to evade being blitzed by Lee with his weights on. Gaara defeated Lee as a genin.
And hell, how is it that Toph is able to control Gaara's sand better than Gaara himself? He couldn't control his sand shield, and yet magically Toph can. Based on what? I'm beginning to feel the bias.
Now I want to see if they think Toph could get a win in a metal bending contest with Magneto.
So was this like composite Toph vs pre-Shippuden Gaara or were both composite?

For the Kimimaro example I'm willing to bet that his bones were stronger than any metal kid Toph could bend: also Gaara was able to block his attack with his uber sand shield but I could be wrong. I do know that surviving being under 200 meters is more impressive than anything Toph could do so I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.
Though I should probably check this fight out a come back.
What a stupid fight lol.
Toph has never manipulated Earth like she has in this Death Battle and certainly not with as much finesse as Gaara with his silly sand. And I'm not sure why Gaara didn't use the substitution technique at the end.
Toph is a boring overrated character. And this is coming from someone who doesn't even friggin like Gaara.
Okay so I finally watched it and...yeah it was dumb.
I'm not sure why the gave Gaara "Gold Dust" even though its not in his regular arsenal: seems like it was an unnecessary handicap. According to DB, Toph's capable of sneaking up on Gaara's auto-sand too.
Also apparently all you need is armor to not be crushed under pressure.
Gaara's bigger scale, spends much of his time floating making him hard to sense, multi-tasks (he got the kages through a combination of sand rain and grabbing from beneath), is faster (does replacement jutsu!), more raw power...
This is the worst outcome they've done. Rogue vs Wonder Woman was pretty off too, but that one at least made a little sense.
Toph is a boring overrated character.
I'll disagree with that a fair amount, but what she is not is a character in the same power league.
She's a middleweight, he's a superheavyweight. Not even close.
