Deathbattle disagreements

I got a chuckle out of Cinder's cameo.

Guts gets literal plot armor as a weapon. That is pretty nifty. Also pretty darn unfair for the other guy.

I don't know what cameo Xan's talking about, but I almost want to read/watch Berserk now. mmm

About the battle, my only real complaint is that they made it look a little too easy.

Yeah Guts did win too easily for it to be that rewatchable for me.

I would rewatch it only see their synopsis of Guts again. (I mean, Holy Christ! That grit!) haermm

The sprite they used to represent Inferno is a character named Cinder, from a different fighting game series known as Killer Instinct.

I like Cinder, but that's pretty lame and uninspiring if that's how they used him (still have yet to watch the battle and not sure if I will, to be honest).

So Death Battle's logic is because Nightmare's a demon and since Guts kills demons, that gives him the auto win. Even though he got his ass kicked by some powerful demons before in the past, he wins regardless. Yeah okay.

Guts should've died the moment Nightmare used his critical finisher and most certainly should've died when he transformed into Night Terror.

Their logic is worse actually, according to them, Guts fights and defeats stronger people then him all the time, so even if Nightmare is stronger, he should have no problem.

Thoughts on Lex versus Stark? Anybody?

Was actually worried at first Lex would win for the sole reason "Come on! He took on Superman! Duh! Doesn't matter if he had magic nerf rocks to do it!" I'm glad it didn't come to that when Death Battle could've gotten away with it (maybe) and moved on.

Also dat teaser for Beast vs Goliath. So much childhood nostalgia rushing back.

I really want to put my money on Goliath, but I get the feeling Beast has some showings that put him above the leader of the Manhattan clan.

Pretty much all of this. Dumb comics.

Goliath is a better fighter but depending on the Beast they use he has decades of higher end feats. Especially kitty Hank. Like ripping apart a Danger droid.

Now if Goliath gets the Eye of Odin it's over.

Suit vs suit Stark wins, but Lex is smarter so in a pure prep battle he'd win easily

Death Battle is "gladiator" style so no fight has had prep of any kind. Handicaps some fighters but overall it is more fair and easier to argue.
