No, it has to do with proving that DM isn't omnipotent, as erroneously suggested by a few people on this thread. And the Silver Surfer could actually perform such a feat, and yet he's gotten his ass beat by Thor multiple times in comics.

Oh please you base your opinion on what characters call themselves i was providing an instance where Thor has claimed that Odin was omnipotent to show that such things HOLD no weight. Dr Manhatten is no more omnipotent than Odin is.

I seen Thor get his ass beat hundreds of times..I never seen DM get beat once..

For sure i dont call it Omnipotent. And he cant be omnipresent. Being in two places is very far from being omnipresent. He was even looking for Ozy in room, lol.
