I'd love to see the Hero's Shade make an appearance, I doubt it'll happen though, because then we'd technically have two Links on the roster, HW Link and OoT's Link. So it'd be great, but I won't get my hopes up.

Darunia would be manly. His finisher? BIG GORON HUG.

I think it's a pretty trivial reason to just snub Hero's Shade when it's pretty much a spin-off that's practically made for characters like him. The Hero's Shade inherently had a sense of mystery to him, it's just that that mystery was kinda easy to theorize on. Besides, I doubt it's something they'll try too hard to bring up in the game considering it was mostly implication in TP.

On the subject of Darunia and gorons, the staff has said another new character will be revealed this week, and sources say it had a style that implied a Goron type character to be playable.

Normally I find Dynasty Warriors kinda meh. Can get boring after awhile before too long, at least for me. Main reason this installment will sell is because of the Zelda paint job. May still get it at some point though.
