The answer that Barnes tells us is 'yes.' I mean, if you had a statement like "Sentry took a blast from Galactus" it would be the same thing. But you don't, which is why they're different.

True, if Mr Fantastic states that Galactis threw an all-out blast which Sentry tanked, we'd have the same thing.

Hey, because the Balrog has been called a shadow beast. Does that put him on the same level as the Shadow Beasts from Twilight? Making him immune to Twilight?

Which mean he'll have to be defeated by Link who excels at defeating Giant Bosses. So never mind.
