Because Tyrant has never contained a universal level explosion? At best its a draw for Tyrant, at worst Monarch beats the shit out of him.

Again with that.
Chain reaction only works if something continuously amps the explosion, or further increases it's outcome. In that case, Monarch explosion was a big explosion that expanded on his own with no further aid in boosting it.
Best example would be you blowing up a house, then by hitting the gas line, a chain reaction happen by expending the explosion. That's not what happen with Monarch.
Also stop lowballing the Monitors shields.
