Also I'm arguing the writers intentions. He didn't intend on Thing doing that simply because of the prior attack. Thing would have achieved the same feat even if Hulk never got attacked prior.

It happens all the time in comics, not just with Batman or Cap, it happens with lesser named Street Levels(and even to characters with powers and are beyond Strength Level, but are NOT bricks). Accept it. Sometimes there's a partial explanation for body armor or even some made-up thing in the comics, but most of the time it happens 'cuz.....comics. Have a little fcuking suspension of disbelief for once in your life. The way you act, I'm half surprised you don't nitpick the very fact they have powers at all.

I'm pretty sure that the 31st century isn't here yet. It is well within the suspension of disbelief that Val knows arts that specifically gives him the ability to damage very durable objects with his given strength. We don't even know how strong he is. We don't know the circumstances of exactly why scientifically Val can break very durable objects.

Hulk stood in the heart of Human Torch and Storm unleashing everything they had...all of their power at him up til both passed out from exhaustion. If you don't think that did anything to Hulk then you give Hulk higher props than I do.

Its all about the writers intentions. The writer wasn't thinking about the previous attack as to why Thing is able to bust Hulk face. Hulk was burnt in some places and not in others. His HF was very fast.
