Indiana Jones vs. Jack Sparrow

Started by KingD193 pages

Yeah. Let's use an example of a guy with no shown feats showing off like a dumbass, vs a guy with 3 movies worth of kicking everybodies ass.

Also Indy doesn't have his gun in this.

Sense of humor isn't your strong suit, I take it.

I'm on pain pills right now. So it's probably dulled. Is that Lando in your avi?

I am as well. Stupid migraine. But I definitely understand where you're coming from.

Nope, it's Andrew Ryan. Stylized portrait.

I wish all it was was a migraine. I got kicked in the bicep in a sparring match.

That sounds very unfun. Recovery time?

I'd prefer Jones myself. Jacks too dirty and smelly. Dr Jones though.... meow.

Edit: Oh wait thats not what the threads about.

Also I already commented. Huh.

It wasn't too bad. It's one of those "feels worse than it actually is" injuries. So a few days tops. But it does hurt like a b*tch.

👆 Speedy recovery then.

Spoiler:
Jones still wins.

Totally pegged you for a Depp fanboyl.

More of a Han fan.

Han and Indy shoot first. You'll never be satisfied.

whip Whip isnt gonna help Indy here

Indy always finds a way. It's not the tool that makes the man deadly. It's the man who uses the tool that makes it deadly. Indy would see right through, Jack. The moment Jack loses his sword is the moment he loses all chance of beating, Indy. I don't see, Indy having any problem in divorcing Jack from his sword.

Who did Indy fight who was as skilled as Jack? And Jack's reflexes are pretty damn sharp. I doubt he'd fall victim to a slow whipcrack.

Indy fistfought Nazis, Thugees, and Commies and won, which is as hard as you can be without being born to a Viking family or made of diamond.

It's just who he fought but the things he did and how he did them. I'm not arguing that Jack is a skilled swordsman but without that sword I don't see him being any kind of a threat to Indy and I think it would be all to easy for Indy to separate that sword from jack.

Plus with a whip you can really maintain distance. Just ask Dracula.

No one has brought this up - Since the fight takes place on the Black Pearl, Jack could have the advantage of knowing his surrounding better. If Jack gets unarmed, he runs into some secret passage in the ship and surprise attacks Indy.

So in that scenario, while Jacks hiding, Indy torches the boat, takes one of the lifeboats/canoes and rows back to land while Jack burns alive. Jack should fight, not run away. Which he does very often, run.

So the question becomes: can Indy arm himself from the boarding parties' collection of weapons? Does he own a lighter? How long can Jack dangle on the foretopmainmast before Indy waits him out?

Also, the rum is all in the hold.

Cap Jack kills him no probs.

Didn't read anything before.
