I knew a girl in high school who was dating way older guys all the time. She was something of a legend for supposedly dating a 40 year old.

Of course now that sounds creepy as hell, but we just never thought about it like that back then.

I'll never get stuff like this. It's like people calling me a legendary fisherman for successfully shooting fish in a barrel.

Unless the legendary status came from her being able to invite people over for crazy parties at her 40 yr. old boyfriends house. But if she was just a high school girl riding some 40 yr. old...eh.

It was just dating.

She almost threw up from her first kiss years later, she said.

21 Jump Street was a paedo show.

Even weirder. Why was she dating him then?

Money...

Likely.

Question is, why was he dating her?

No 40 yr. old man is tossing money at a gold digging high school girl if she isn't blowing and banging him.

Nope.

If you're over the age of 20, then sleeping with anyone under the age of 17 is weird, imo. The brain develops a lot around that point, and there's an imbalance of power between a 16-year-old and a someone of 20+.

The woman in question here is burning in Hell for what she did, regardless of how it ended up.

Depends on how quickly a person matures. One of my classmates moved out of his abusive mother's home into his own apartment, worked evenings, finished the last 2 years of high school as an emancipated teen, married his GF, and had a 1 year old by the time he was 18. He was also the first among us to make bank after high school - finished a trade school program for electricians and now he's a very successful electrician.

We only have to go back 2 generations to a time when our great grandparents got married as teens and had their first 1-3 kids before 18. Especially in farming areas.

Piggle (OTF) told stories about teenaged girls tricking men at the pubs to sleep with them by pretending to be adults (fake IDs, got in...but that argument is flimsy in court). That's life-ruining. Men shouldn't be so quick to sleep with a girl from the pub of the club.

Keep it in your pants. Really really avoid one-night stands unless you know the person.

Good luck with that, what with hookup culture being what it is.

Mostly a product of the left. Ever since the hippie "free love" era, there's been a promotion of casual sex, that has evolved into a social pressure to pad those numbers or be deemed an "incel loser".

Right, telling predatory teenagers - who are specifically targeting adults just to be able to tweet, message, snap, post, or update their status that they got laid by a stranger from the pub - is hardly going to be effective.

"Hook-up culture" is one of the worst things to ever make it mainstream.

However, we have more incels than ever: both male and female. So it's just a very loud and obnoxious minority of people doing this stupid shit.

Look up "Superman wasn't Jewish."

It's a comic book done in a cutesy "for pre schoolers" art style, but the subject matter is brilliant insight into what growing up was really like for many of us.

For example, the protagonist unapologetically recounts how he projected onto a fellow classmate something he wanted to avoid being made fun of himself, and joined in the heckling. Or talks about how the only thing that mattered in his new school was "So, how many have you banged?"

It's not nearly as crude as I'm making it sound, there's quite a few endearing moments, it just doesn't sugar coat what was actually happening.

.................................................nice.

Didn't you sleep with girls a year or two younger when you were 16/17/18. I know I did and I told everyone I loved them

When I was 17, I slept with a 16 year old. That’s the lowest in my teens.

In my 20’s I never went lower than 21.

Now in my early 30’s, the youngest was 25, with the oldest being 45.

Growing up I liked the Buffy/Angel relationships. Until I got older and I realize a 245 year old vamp was macking on a 16 yr old girl. But at the same time, Buffy’s character was a girl chosen to fight demons, and most of them doesn't even reach their 18th birthday, and Angel was one of the few people that genuinely had her back, and would die for her.

In that setting, I say Buddy was far older than most 16 year old. At the age of 17, she literally send the man she love to hell for a few hundred of years to be tortured.

Though it's creepy cuz Angel literally stalked Buffy before she even came to Sunnydale.

Would die for her? what was Angel doing when she went off to fight the Master? Since he was willing to die for her, I assume he was right next to her the entire time, right?

Buffy loved Spike.
